What to Expect From Your Microneedling Treatment
Your microneedling treatment takes approximately 60 minutes, including prep & aftercare. You may feel a gentle prickling sensation during the treatment, but it is generally not sore.
Your skin may appear red and feel slightly warm or sensitive afterwards, similar to mild sunburn, but this usually settles within a few hours or days.
Most clients can return to their normal activities the following day, although you should follow your recommended aftercare.
For best results, a course of 3–6 treatments may be recommended, depending on your skin and individual concerns.
You may notice your skin looking fresher and more radiant within the first few weeks, with improvements in texture, firmness and overall skin quality continuing to develop as your collagen production increases.
Immediately After your Treatment
Immediately after microneedling, your skin may look slightly red and feel warm or sensitive, similar to mild sunburn.
This is a normal response to the treatment and is part of the skin’s natural healing process. You may also notice some mild swelling or tightness, which should gradually settle over the following few days.
Your skin will then continue to renew and improve as new collagen and elastin are produced.
